Hi there,
I am writing to inform you that an important new software release Update 39.0.1 (or “U39.0.1”) for our network-based threat detection and response solution, Stamus Security Platform, is now available.
We recommend that you visit your My Stamus Networks portal to review the instructions for upgrading your Stamus Security Platform to U39.0.1 as soon as possible.
New with U39.0.1
This release includes several bug fixes and a security patch to the underlying operating system. These are briefly described in the list below:
- Fix for empty SCS monitoring page linked to hostname - Fixed an issue when the hostname or visible address used “scirius” as part of the name. This would cause the monitoring page of the Stamus Central Server (SCS) UI to not populate accurately
- Allow users to control full http header logging in alerts - Added a checkbox to alerts to log all HTTP headers with the alert. This can be found in the probe view page and clicking Alert in the NSM settings on the right. This will add all the HTTP headers to the actual alert record to make for less correlation requirements.
- REST API now supports Network Definition update - Added an update function to the REST API for customers using a third party tool to create their network definitions.
- Fix global settings edit for ND level license - Fixed a bug that would cause the “Global appliance settings” page to return a 500 Error when the customer is not using Stamus NDR license tier
- Elastic stack upgrade to 7.17.10 - Upgraded Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana on the SCS to 7.17.10 with all associated security patches.
- Security fixes for the operating system with package upgrades - This is included with every release
